This is a figurine of the god Osiris.

It is from Saqqara. Where some woodworkers made furniture, others sculpted large or small statues. This might be a god for a temple or shrine, or an image of a dead person for a tomb. This small figure of the god Osiris is very worn and decayed, but it shows the god seated on a throne, wearing the atef crown (conical with a feather on either side). This is a figurine of the god Osiris. It is made from wood. We do not know how old this object is.
