This is a plaque made as an offering.

This object is from Egypt but the exact location is unknown. Renpet was the ‘goddess of years’ – renpet was the ancient Egyptian word for year. She represented youth, fertility and the coming of spring. She was shown as a woman wearing a long palm shoot, representing time. The main centres for worship of Renpet were Memphis and Crocodilopolis. This is a plaque made as an offering. It is made from faience. We do not know how old this object is.
