This is a scaraboid.

It is from grave D226 at Abydos. The inscription on the underside of this faience scaraboid bead reads ‘Lord of all countries’. This is a scaraboid. It is carved from Egyptian alabaster. It is at least 3,300 years old, dating to the 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom (about 1550-1295 BCE).
