It is from grave 1101 at Qau el-Kebir (Antaeopolis). A small jar from the offerings placed in a woman’s grave. This may have been to hold cosmetics. This is a jar. It is made from Egyptian alabaster. It is at least 4,300 years old, dating to the 5th Dynasty in the Old Kingdom (about 2494-2354 BCE).
