This is a necklace.

It is from grave D14 at Abydos. This necklace of garnet and carnelian beads was probably a valuable possession. It was one of four necklaces in the grave, along with a mirror and a bowl. This is a necklace. It is made from semi-precious stones: carnelian and garnet. It is at least 3,800 years old, dating to the 12th Dynasty (about 1985-1795 BCE) in the Middle Kingdom.
