This is a wood cramp.

It is from Saqqara. Stoneworkers used wooden cramps to hold stone blocks together. The cramp fitted into triangular holes cut in the top surface of two adjoining blocks, and stopped any movement during building. This is a wood cramp. It is made from wood. We do not know how old this object is.
