They are from Mastaba T in Giza. Marbles is one of the oldest known games and was played by both children and adults in Egypt. These are marbles. They are made from limestone/quartz. They are over 4,600 years old, dating to the 3rd Dynasty (2686-2613 BCE) in the Old Kingdom period.
