This is a wooden table.

It is from Kom Wesim or Rubaiyat. The three-legged design was the most practical for use on the uneven surfaces of a mud-brick or mat-covered floor, as three-legged furniture would not wobble. These round-topped tables reflect the importance of Greek and Roman traditions of furniture making rather than that of the ancient Egyptians, which favoured tables of rectangular form. This is a wooden table. It is made from wood. It is 1,600-1,800 years old, dating to the 3rd or 4th Century AD in the Roman Period (200-400AD).
