This is a dish.
Found above grave 3507 at Saqqara. Fine bowls such as this one were needed to serve the food and eat from. The quality of the pottery in a tomb probably reflected the status of the dead person. The richer they were in life, the better quality tableware they could afford to bury in their tomb. This is a dish. It is made from clay. It is at least 3,300 years old, dating to the 15th to 18th Dynasties (about 1650-1295 BCE).
