This is a seated figure of Isis holding Horus on her lap.

It is from Egypt but the exact location is unknown. Isis represented the mother goddess, and the Egyptians often showed her suckling her son Horus. An Egyptian would have presented this figure to a temple as a votive offering, to ask for protection for a woman or child. This is a seated figure of Isis holding Horus on her lap. It is made from a copper alloy. We do not know how old this object is.
